The young witch had heard whispers about the Cursed Tomb Treasure long before she ever set foot in Manor Glen. In 2026, Hogwarts Legacy still rewards curiosity, and this side quest remains one of the most atmospheric treasure hunts in the southern Highlands. The map is cryptic, the tomb is crawling with Inferi, and the final puzzle has made more than a few players scratch their heads. But for a patient adventurer, it is a deliciously eerie detour. No big deal, right? Just a cursed tomb, a handful of monsters, and a treasure that has been waiting for centuries.

Locate Manor Glen
To begin, she travels to the West Manor Cape Floo Flame in the southern area of the map. The quest marker sits northeast of here, in the Manor Glen area. The broken-down home looks like it has been abandoned since before the Goblin Rebellion, but the front door is not the way in. She heads down the stairs and enters through the back entrance. Then she takes a left and goes down more stairs into the basement.

On the left is a door that requires Level 3 Alohomora. Inside, she moves down the hallway into the bottom floor and meets the first wave of Inferi. These undead creatures are not fans of fire, so Incendio and Confringo make short work of them. After clearing the room, she goes left into the next chamber and finishes off another group. Then she heads forward through the doorway on the left. This room is guarded by two major enemies: the Lord of the Manor and Ailsa Travers. Talk about a wild goose chase, but the fight is worth it.

When both bosses fall, she finds a chest on the right side of the room. Inside is a map. The parchment practically hums with secrets, and the red X marks the Tomb of Treachery.

Tomb of Treachery
Using the Tomb of Treachery Floo Flame, she arrives at the underground location and heads inside. The tomb seems to exhale cold air as she walks straight ahead, past crumbling stone and old bones. She reaches a room with a tomb and bones in the middle. To the left, a path is blocked by a thick spider web. Incendio or Confringo burns it away, and she continues down.

This next room has a few spiders. After defeating them, she spots a golden door ahead. Three empty butterfly slots sit on its surface. The door waits like a patient old librarian, refusing to budge until all three butterflies are returned.

The Three Butterflies
The first butterfly is down the left path. She breaks the spider web on the left and follows the corridor. A box on the left side of the room can be moved with Wingardium Leviosa. She places it in front of the large ledge and climbs to the top floor. Up there, a butterfly flutters in the gloom. Lumos attracts it, and she leads it back to the main room and into the golden door.

The last two butterflies are in the room to the right of the golden door. One is openly available. Lumos draws it in, and she brings it back to the door. For the other, she destroys the spiderweb with Confringo or Incendio, then uses Lumos to guide it to the door. The golden door unlocks, and she steps into the final room.

The Flipendo Puzzle
Inside the final room, more Inferi rise from the floor. She defeats them with fire and force spells, then turns her attention to the puzzle in the middle of the room. The treasure map showed three stones that needed to be flipped. Standing opposite the entrance she came from, she uses Flipendo to flip over the three correct stones. The room rumbles, and the treasure chest appears. Honestly, it is a bit of a marathon, but the reward is worth the effort.
